You will see a list of versions. Look for the newest one. It will usually be at the top or marked as "Latest release."

### Step 2: Choose the Right File

Inside the latest release, you will find files to download. These files should have ".exe" or ".zip" endings.
- Pick the file named something like `velboard-setup.exe` or `velboard.zip`.
- The `.exe` file is a ready program you can install directly.
- The `.zip` file contains the program files but may require you to unzip before use.

If you pick the `.zip` file, the next step is to unzip it after downloading.

### Step 3: Download the File

Click the file name to download it. The file will save to your computer. By default, it goes to your "Downloads" folder.

### Step 4: Run the velboard Installer or Program

If you downloaded the `.exe` file:

- Double click the file.
- A setup window appears. Follow the instructions on your screen.
- Choose where to install velboard or accept the default location.
- After setup finishes, look for the velboard icon on your desktop or start menu.

If you downloaded the `.zip` file:

- Right-click the file and select "Extract All" or use a program like WinRAR.
- Choose a folder to unzip all the files.
- Open the folder and double click the `velboard.exe` to run it.

### Step 5: Allow velboard to Run

When you open the program the first time, Windows might ask if you trust the file.
- Click "Yes" or "Run" to continue.
- This is normal for new software.
